Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Austin follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It’s great ! It’s not crowded like most self serve car washes. Cards only no cash which is nice you don’t have to worry about how many quarters you need 😱It’s open late for people like me who gets off late;/ you can get FREE vacuum with a carwash purchase! There are several choices of washes and option for brushless and floor mat cleaning machine! Check it out!!

Just had an AWFUL experience at Snappy Clean Car Wash on 620 in Lakeway. DO NOT GO HERE!! I was in the car wash and it stopped working. 2 men that looked like they worked here FINALLY came and peeked in-I saw them in my rear view mirror, NEVER said anything to me, did NOT answer the phone number when I called, went back into hiding. Now I am stuck with soap all over my car. I will never come back and will tell everyone I know not to use this car wash. I would love my money back for this scam of a place. Not worth the value, horrible quality, extremely poor service.

Only place I've found that is truly touch less. $18 is a bit steep as there is another touch wash down the street that includes hand dry and tires dressed and does an incredible job. Free vac and compressed air is really nice to use. But I will continue to come back for the touch less on my weekend toy

This place is extremely hard to get into with a truck. (Standard truck, not lifted are anything like that) Be careful or you’ll curb your tires making the turn to get in. I went for the middle tier car ($15) and it was an absolute waste of money. Spraying my truck at home with my garden hose would have done the same thing. The air dryer at the end of the wash is very quick and not very strong. The wash left a lot of dirt, bird poop, and streaks/ water spots galore… picture in review was taken about 15 mins after the wash.

Love the free vacuums and the owners personal service at the wash entrance. I had purchased the touchless wash, however he recommended touch and touchless for better results (no price difference than the one I originally chose). It's been awhile since I've had the car washed and the dirt and grime was pretty thick. He also showed me the fibers used for the touch wash they are very soft, not hard rubber at all. Definitely worth the visit, I'll be back!
